Smiles and Poses

Another weekend, another wedding for Edenexposed...

This time we had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful bride and groom at a picturesque church in Stapleford Abbots...

The church ceremony

Following a lovely ceremony, we took some group shots outside in the grounds of the church, working against mother nature as rather large rain clouds loomed over head..... getting rained on we headed to the reception venue, Toot Hill Golf Club in Essex, to continue the photographs, in the hope the rain wold have stopped by the time we arrived!

We were in luck, as the blue skies came out to play again, we took Emma and Richard off round the stunning grounds of the golf club for their couple shots as man and wife:

Walking together through the golf course

Happiness shines through this image, Emma and Richard were a joy to photograph

Using a bridge over some flowing water by the side of a lake in the grounds, i love this image of the bride and groom!

This image is not only my favorite from the day, but is truly one of my all time favs!
With an off camera flash positioned behind the couple, you get the fabulous burst of light coming through and great shadows on the floor.

Luckily the rain held off until the couple shots were over, then once again the heavens opened again and we all took shelter in the reception room.

After a cutting of the cake shot we left the bride and groom to enjoy the rest of their special day with their guests and Edenexposed headed home to start uploading the images!

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Stacey!

Crondon Park Wedding

Edenexposed were off to Crondon Park in Stock, Essex for our second wedding of the summer.

Crondon Park Golf and Country Club, nestled away in the Essex countryside with its 17th century Baronial Hall makes a stunning location for a wedding.

We started off the day nice and early, arriving at the Grooms house for his getting ready images with the Best Men and Ushers.

Once having mastered the art of tying a cravat, suited, booted and raring to go, we took the guys on a short walk to the nearby railway bridge for some urban groomsmen shots.

A closed car garage metal shutter proved to be the perfect backdrop for some manly images!

Our next stop was the hotel where the beautiful bride was preparing for her big day with her Maid of Honer.
Edenexposed Photography let our blushing bride get ready as we picked off some shots.

Once the dress was on we spent some time with Sam the bride before heading to Crondon Park to await her arrival.

Front and Back details of the wedding dress.

One of our favorite images below captures the dreamy beauty of the bride:

Once at Crondon Park, we caught the boys arriving in style in a Bentley:

As the day progressed, the bride arriving by Rolls Royce followed by a beautiful ceremony and drinks outside in the garden, we took the newly married couple away from their guests for a short while to take their first photographs as husband and wife.

We put the grounds of Crondon Park to full use for these couple shots...

Love reflected in the lake:

Against a black fence, I like this image as it really sets off the white wedding dress:

On our way back to the reception room we spotted a JCB in a corn field and the bride and groom were very excited about using it in some photos - this is one of our favorite images from the day:

After the couple shots, Edenexposed took a break whilst the bride and groom spent some time with the guests and enjoyed their wedding breakfast.
Once first dance time neared, Edenexposed were back in the game and captured the bouquet toss in style before the dancing began:

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs James!

Weddings Galore

Ok...So I have been away from the blog for a couple of months but all for good reason...Edenexposed has been really busy recently as we were booked for weddings every weekend in August and the 1st one of September.

As we have nearly got our final wedding images off to the client, and as our first proper wedding season comes to an end, I am back on track!

I'm going to kick off with our first wedding of the summer - Hazel and Johns quirky gypsy themed wedding in Harwich.

The ceremony took place in the grade II listed Electric Palace - built in 1911, it if one of the only surviving purpose built cinemas.

The Groom was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his bride with his groomsmen outside the Palace when we got them together for this shot:

I mentioned that this was a gypsy themed wedding and in keeping with this, the 6 bridesmaids each had a single sunflower and dressed in paisley print maxi dresses.

The bride arrived at the ceremony in unusual style, wearing a handmade dress and clutching a bunch of gorgeous sunflowers, aboard a horse drawn Romany gypsy wagon:

After the ceremony we took some shots of the couple with their guests outside the palace with the wagon and horses in the background, my favorite image being this one, the bride and groom with the groomsmen:

then took a stroll with the couple down to the sea front for some romantic couple shots before the reception.
This is our favorite part of any wedding day, we get to spend an hour or so with the bride and groom, taking their first photos as a married couple.

The Rings:

The image below, with Harwich lighthouse in the background and the veil flowing in the breeze, is one of my favorites from the day:

With the bride being 7 months pregnant, and having a fear of heights, she wasn't to keen to walk out onto the promenade into the sea, so the groom went it alone for this great silhouette shot:

After the couple shots, Hazel and John went to join their guests at the reception at the Cliff Hotel in Harwich.
After the first dance it was time for Edenexposed to depart and begin the editing process!

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Sayer!
